Heather & David’s Long Beach Engagement Session
Heather and David’s engagement session took us to the shores of Long Beach, Ontario—a spot that’s more than just beautiful scenery to these two. It’s home. David’s family cottage has stood here since he was a little boy, and over the years, it’s become the backdrop to so many important memories in their relationship. So of course, it was the perfect place to capture their next big chapter.
Mid-May gave us a bit of a surprise with cooler temps and breezy lake air, but Heather and David didn’t flinch. They laughed through the wind, braved the chilly water, and brought all the warmth we needed. We splashed our feet in the waves, squeezed in a quick outfit change, and just had an absolute blast.
Being able to photograph their love in a place with so much history and heart was such a privilege. Sessions like this are why I love what I do—capturing not just people, but the places and stories that shape them.
